We are looking forward to transition Day on Wednesday 6^th July. This is an opportunity for all children to spend the day with their new teacher, in their new classroom, with their new classmates. (Year 6 will spend the day at their secondary schools.)

The arrangements for the day will be the same as a normal day at school. The children will need to be dropped off to their current class at the normal time and picked up from their current class at the normal time. We will have an assembly at the beginning of the day and children will leave assembly with their new teacher and their new class. Children will then go back to their current class at the end of the day to ensure they get picked up from there at the end of the day.

We would appreciate it if you could speak to your children about their transition so that you can reassure them of the arrangements for the day and to reassure them that the day is to help them feel more prepared and confident for moving up to their new class in September.
